A unique place where you won’t just be a guest, but a true participant in your culinary experience.
"La Table des Chefs is a place where you come to learn, but above all, to be amazed."
Nestled within the historic walls of an old building, across from the iconic restaurant Le Petit Jardin, La Table des Chefs embodies the understated elegance and rich heritage of Montpellier.
The venue is part of the heritage of an old college founded in the 14th century by the brothers of Pope Urban V, intended to host monks and students of grammar and rhetoric.
At the time, it had only one table for ten guests—a simple idea that we chose to preserve, in the same spirit of sharing and closeness.
Although the building was destroyed in 1562, its stones have withstood the centuries: reused in 1622 to build the citadel and strengthen the city walls, they still bear witness to a living past today.
Carefully restored, La Table des Chefs now combines the charm of ancient materials with a contemporary and refined atmosphere, conducive to learning, creativity, and connection.
At the origin of La Table des Chefs lies a simple yet powerful ambition: to create a place where the chefs of the Groupe Petit Jardin could share their passion, expertise, and creativity in an intimate and inspiring setting.
Envisioned as a natural extension of the spirit of the restaurant Le Petit Jardin, this project was born from the desire to bring chefs closer to their guests, to open the doors behind the scenes of gastronomy, and to offer an immersive experience at the heart of the group’s culinary world.
This space was also conceived as a vibrant, evolving venue, capable of hosting moments of sharing, human connections, and tailor-made events.
Thus was born La Table des Chefs: a rare destination, designed to showcase gastronomy in all its human, artistic, and emotional dimensions.
